Bollywood is the informal name given to Hindi-language film industry situated in Mumbai, India. It is the biggest film industry in India and one of the biggest in the world, producing a huge number of films every year. Bollywood films are known for their formulaic storylines, expertly choreographed various fight scenes, spectacular song and dance routines, emotional melodrama .
Not every Indian films are considered Bollywood films. Other regional film industries in Madras and Calcutta exist alongside Bollywood and often eschew the songs and large budget productions that are hallmarks of Bollywood films.
